Description
| The beautiful Scottish Highlands are known for their rich surplus of natural slate. Today, we've captured the splendor of this enchanting region with Highland Ridge. Created to emulate natural slate, this rustic tile features a distinctive, textured surface complemented by four random shade/color variations. In addition to its three modular sizes, which make it ideal for patterning, its style is enhanced by two-color blend accent designs. A unique 1" x 3" mosaic further emphasizes its mesmerizing beauty. Slate-like and dramatic, Highland Ridge represents nature at its finest. |
NOTES:
- HR70 & HR71 - Pre-grout sealing is recommended to protect the stone accent during the installation process, to prevent grout from staining the stone during the grouting process and to ease in grout cleanup. After installation, sealing will make the stone less porous and more stain resistant. Use a penetrating or safe-coating type sealer, depending on the desired look.
- Special care should be taken when grouting with dark pigmented colors. A grout release is recommended to prevent finely powdered pigments from lodging in the pores of the surface. Use of modified latex thin-set is recommended for proper installation.
- Strong, random shading enhances the natural beauty of this product. To achieve optimal results, tile should be selected from multiple cartons and shading arrangement planned prior to installation.
