Description

Tumbled Stone bring the character of timeworn natural stone into your home. A tumbling process is used to soften the edges of these luxurious natural stone tiles, giving them an Old World flavor reminiscent of fine european homes from centuries past. Available in a broad range of sizes, including one-foot squares consisting of pre-mounted mosaic-sized pieces, Tumbled Stone can be used for everything from walls and floors to countertops and fireplace surrounds. Beautiful accent borders in multiple colors complement its natural warmth and inherent elegance.
 

NOTES:

  • Might contain dry seams, pits, fossils and glass veins that are filled at the factory or during installation. These voids can sometimes lose their fillings and should be refilled as part of normal maintenance.
  • American Olean cautions purchaser that natural stone products do not meet minimum C.O.F. requirements of safety standard-setting organizations.
  • 2 x 12 Chair Rail available in TU05 only.
  • Pre-grout sealing is recommended on all Decorative Tile to protect the stone accent during the installation process, to prevent grout from staining the stone during the grouting process and to ease in grout cleanup. After installation, sealing will make the stone less porous and more stain resistant. Use a penetrating or surface-coating type sealer, depending on the desired look.

  • A sealer is recommended. (Note: Some limestones and tumbled stone should be sealed prior to grouting.)
  • White thin-set mortar is recommended.
  • Commercial use of Tumbled Stone is suitable for covered exterior floors and walls in freezing and non-freezing climates.
  • Residential use of Tumbled Stone is suitable for covered exterior floors and walls in freezing and non-freezing climates.
  • Tumbled Stone can be used in interior wet areas, if sealed and maintained, the stone look can be altered. Please contact your sealer manufacturer or your American Olean sales represenatives for information about products that can protect the stone from moisture exposure.
  • Water, oil, grease, etc. create slippery conditions. Floor applications with exposure to these conditions require extra caution in product selection.
