Internet Selling Policy

Founded in 1923, American Olean has been a manufacturer and marketer of ceramic, porcelain, glass, metal and stone tile products for residential and commercial design and construction across North America. We are committed to delivering high quality products to consumers through a world class network of trade partners including flooring distributors, flooring dealers, tile contractors, and internet retailers.

While we embrace the Internet as a medium or vehicle for promoting, marketing and selling our products, we encourage our customers to be cautious when buying online. Some Internet retailers offer what appear to be lower priced options on our products. These retailers may charge shipping, handling and/or other fees that make the real cost of the products much higher. Often, these fees are not apparent until the final step in the checkout process. This may increase the total purchase price to a level higher than what you would normally pay through a local American Olean trade partner.

American Olean has over 130 Independent Distributor locations and over 40 American Olean Company owned sales service centers across the U.S. for consumers to browse, view product samples, and make product selections. The American Olean Company owned locations sell to our trade partners, including dealers and tile contractors, and do not sell directly to consumers and are prohibited from serving as a pick-up location for on-line consumer sales.
